Damn!!! Did you guys see what happened to Ten Kate's Chris Vermulen on the warm up lap for Race 2?!? Crazy shit! Hats off to Giovanni Buesi(sp?) for giving him a ride to the grid and keeping his hopes for the championship alive.

As skeptical as I was with the new rules, I must say that I'm very impressed with the WSBK championship to-date.. Can't wait for next week!

From pit lane! He left from the pits on his B bike after everyone had left the grid. I think they said everyone had a 23 second lead.

So what were the penalties handed out? I saw the race and it was great!

The guy who gave him a ride back to the pits was penalized a "ride through the pits" penalty. I believe it's similar to a stop and go, without the stop.

Not sure if there were any other penalties.
