Brian's mom is planning on scattering his ashes at Green Lake in Orchard Park, on Wednesday, Sept 22. She would like to do this in the afternoon, around 3:00, in hopes that his friends could attend if they wished to. You were all his friends, so you (and your bikes) are all invited.
Green Lake is located in Yates Park, just off Buffalo St. across from the O.P. country club. http://tinyurl.com/6rvue This was his favorite spot, he fished there all the time.
There was also a mention of food, so if you'd like to attend, or think there is a chance you will, please respond here so I can let his mom know.
Thanks, Jim

I'm sorry, but given the distance and other demands, I cannot attend.

Sorry, won't be able to attend. I will be in New Orleans on Business. If someone would step up and represent those of us who can't attend, and pass on that support to the family, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I wish I could attend, but a work commitment that afternoon/evening will preclude me from doing so.
I hope some others can attend to express the support of the group.

I just spoke with Brian's Mom, and she has decided to postpone this a couple weeks. She'd like to do it on a day when it would be more accessible to Brian's friends with their bikes.
Maybe we could arrange a weekend group ride to stop off at Green Lake mid day? She really wants to see and hear the bikes, since they were such a big part of his life. If we could do this for her, she would be eternally grateful. I would too.
