too bad he didn't step up a level and go into WSB.... I'm not sure why he would want to stay in AMA since he nad no "competition"....

He is dominating the "elite" series in AMA. I'd probably stay too. $$$$$$$

I'm sure there is but, there's guaranteed money in AMA, especially when you're setting new records and winning championships. Look out for Spies this year though. ;)

I can see that. I guess it doesn't make sense to me b/c if your a die hard competitor you would want to be completing with the best, and currently he has proven that no one in AMA can touch him (for the most part).... anyways... hope that he makes a good recovery. I'm sure he is still feeling it.

Plus I believe he just bought a house here in the states. I could be wrong though.

to hell with WSB... Vermulen only came up with 9th place on his home track against the MotoGP guys.... and he dominated WSB.. I want to see Miladin chit his little leathers when he pulls up on the Grid next to Rossi and Hayden.. Then we will see how great he is??????????

you can't just put someone on a MotoGP bike and think that they are going to be running as quick as someone who's been racing the bike(s) for a few years. Those machine are nasty compared to the WSB machines. I do hope the Vermulen, Perdrosa, and Stoner - if he has a ride - make the MotoGP season better this year.

Don't forget they have a whole new set of tracks to learn. It's almost impossible to be a front runner on a track you've never been to, never mind 12 new tracks. ;)
