View Full Version : Another DPR results thread

First race GTO: 30 minute timed race, 3rd place
2nd race: HWSB: Don't remeber my finishing position, but it was nothing special. ~14th or so, but not last
3rd race: MWGP: 11th

Finishes were not so important this weekend. My new mentality is just to go out to have fun, lap times and finishing position be damned. I'm paying way too much money to get frustrated about riding like crap all year.

It worked. The first race completely wore me out, I was getting shoulder/tricep cramps during the last 1/4 of the race, but I toughed it out. The following two races I was good for the first few laps, but slowed down to finish rather than push as I got more tired pushing into the left hand turns.

Endurance, cardio, and some upperbody strength training will be my focus for the remainder of the season and for the start of next season.

I finally have become somewhat comfortable on the bike and I am getting rid of the aftereffects of the beaverun incident.

i am OK but man do i ache. just talked with a friend and fells good to talk about it. this does not change anything I am still a rider and will be out as soon as the ride is fixed. just what they said, tank slapper, hi-side, bike landed on me we slid for 150-200 feet 6 hours in hospital walked out with concussion, bruised kidney, dislocated pinkey, badly bruised back. gonna post pics today to show everyone. thanks again for the tires and hope to be racing with you guys next year.

Rodger,

Yes we are racing that weekend. Ryan must be confused from all the paint fumes. We will be racing September 3-4th. I beleive the race school is on the 2nd.

I haven't painted anything since winter. I still cough up blue and orange.

I'll give you a call tomorrow, there's something Jenn and I want to look at.

You guys could find some local addicts and have them pay for admission into the garage for a few hours, and you'll have a free paint session...
