Folks, its that time of year again. A bit late in the month though.
A special thank you for everyone who has donated here in 2011. I know it was a tough year for everyone, so I am truly grateful for those that did donate.
Our goal is still $600 this year. In 2011 we got just enough donations to stay afloat. I am still hopeful I can get enough donations in to purchase and move Xenforo or invision power board which is a costly purchase at $140-200 over our normal $35 dollar renewal which is no longer available. If we get it, I'll upgrade, if not I'll try and keep the site running as is. Since we have no upgrade options to the current vbulletin version that we run, our site is way behind in updates, which can have some unfortunate side effects. Hopefully we can steer clear of those until we can get enough money to update the software.
Just like last year this time. As of January 1, 2012 I removed the donation buttons from everyone. When you donate now, your button will be visible for the calendar year. January 1, 2013, everyones button will be disappear again so we can do it all over.

These are cumulative for the year. So if you donate all at once or just a little here and there, depending what your donation total is, you will be given one of the 4 ranks above.
Did you know Sportriders.org is now 8 YEARS old and we have over 1000 members? ...and we keep growing all the time!!
What do you get for your donation: A nice Site Supporter button that displays along side your name (letting people know you've donated) and entrance into the SR Arcade (a great way to waste some time). ...and the satisfaction that you helped keep SR around for another year. Sorry, your donations don't get you any "special" voting privileges or ruling status here. :)
