As some here know... For the the past year or so my Dad is fighting stage 4 lung cancer. For the most part he has been doing as best as can. Dee and I came back for an Easter visit and for the first week things were ok. On our second week here, my Dad began having more problems. On top of that, my mother came down with severe pneumonia and was hospitalized for 3 days. Over the next two weeks, there were many sleepless nights trying to take care of both my parents. It also became quite clear that my mom couldn't take care of my dad by herself.

So Dee and I decided to come back and help for the time being. Since my job doesn't entail me working at an office building, or at least I am not tied to my office in Columbia. They graciously said I can work up here for now, and we'd review the situation in a year. If I need more time we'd work it out.

To bad it wasn't under better circumstances, but we'll be able to make some rides and functions this year which will be nice.

With all that being said, I have to make an unplanned move up here with all my stuff soon. I plan to rent a 24' moving truck, which should be able to get all my stuff except the bikes. Does anyone have a two bike trailer they can let me borrow for a week so that I can bring my two bikes up when I make the move?? Should be in a couple weeks.

jeff you can borrow my open trailer with 2 wheel chocks in it to bring them back. it has fit my 636 and a sv a few times so should work fine. tows great. just registered it and redid the lights last year so it works great. let me know and ill give you the key for the tongue lock.

BTW sorry to hear about your father, i understand the strain a long term illness can have on a family, if you need anything while your up here do not hesitate to ask i am home all day during the day.

Well, glad to have you back, just too bad it wasn't under better circumstances.

I'll be out of town with my open trailer from May 11th to the 16th. Russo's might be a better option if that time frame conflicts with your schedule.

The two rail open, or the 6x10 enclosed should be available. The only exception is I have a track day at Calabogie June 19 and 11th and plan on using the enclosed for that

Thanks Guys... I wish it were on better circumstances too.

Russo/Richard, I'll be in contact as soon as I have date when I want to make this move. Not sure yet if I want to pull the enclosed or just pull russo's opened yet. (I would be pulling with my expedition) Either way you guys are awesome. :)

Sorry about family..
If you want I have a enclosed 6x10. Depending on dates for avaiblity. Also a enclosed trailer can haul more boxes inside it.

Sorry to hear about your dilemma. I lost my step dad to the same type of cancer last September and can relate all to well. Keep your chin up and stay positive Jeff, it makes a difference to those that lean on you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
